I breathe FileMaker and do everything I can to bend it to do my bidding. I live to innovate!

I used to work in printing, got into digital pre-press, started using FM in that business, and got good enough that I started doing FM systems. I've been doing this for 20 years, so I know my way around.

I love composing and recording electronic music for pleasure, not for $. I’ve also become a FitBit fanatic and find it’s much easier to enjoy Nature when I can take a little geeky gadget with me.

Work Terms

I work 5-6 days/week, 7 if deadline is critical. It doesn't matter which days; gave up on the concept of "weekend" long ago. I typically work 6-7 hours/day (because any more means you start making stupid mistakes).

I'm a morning person, so I don't pull all-nighters. Can think on my feet and offer the best solution to a problem when presented with few details. A paper trail is crucial; if a client wants to chat on the phone, that's cool, but they must send follow-up email with bullet points from the call. I find this cuts down on costly miscommunications.

Am OCD about my work and take great pride in it. I test everything twice before sending it to the client for review, so my systems are practically bug-free on delivery.
