Where data becomes direction. Clean books and fractional CFO strategy for growing businesses.
Foresight CFO is a fractional CFO and bookkeeping practice for growing businesses, based in Southern California and working remotely with clients anywhere. The practice pairs two connected disciplines: maintaining a clean, accurate record of a company's financial history, and drawing on that foundation to anticipate what lies ahead through forecasting, modeling, and strategic advisory.
The practice was founded by Gavin DeJong, who leads every engagement. Gavin brings finance leadership experience from a $25M+ medical device company and seven years in construction finance, covering monthly close, reconciliations, forecasting, job costing, and board-level reporting. A dedicated production team supports bookkeeping volume, so client work scales without losing quality.
Foresight works with a select group of owners at any given time, typically profitable businesses that have outgrown DIY books but do not need a full-time CFO. Engagements span QuickBooks Online bookkeeping, monthly close, payroll, commission and revenue reconciliation, budgets, KPI dashboards, and full fractional CFO advisory. Medical, construction, and professional services businesses are areas of particular depth.
Rather than advice delivered from a distance, Foresight operates as an embedded partner: owning the numbers, building the models, and translating results into clear decisions for ownership.
