Quality Linux/Unix Shell/Web/Tools Development

I've worked in software development for a few decades that have spanned the aerospace, telecommunications, publishing, computer development and game industries. Most recently I have been working on command line and web based tools for a telecommunications company to support their software configuration management department. I currently write perl, bash, and ksh scripts daily and have developed a web based reporting and support tool using perl and php, html, javascript, mysql, ajax and the dojo toolkit. I've always been a self started that needs little oversight and provide a quality product with built in test flags for easy debugging or for adding additional features.

I'm looking to gain a regular clientèle to take advantage of my skills and expertise. I hope to keep my rates low until such a clientèle base is established and I've proven myself as a asset.

I currently have a full time job but intend to work on projects in the evenings and weekends so that I can ween myself and become independent.

Work Terms

Evenings and Weekends. Would prefer to have well defined specs for the task and any examples of the expected results.
