15+ years of production and project management experience with digital and print delivery in educational publishing.
My career is rooted in printing and project management, but for the last 8 years my positions have focused on digital delivery in educational publishing. During this time I have project managed teams executing course development and digital delivery via LMS and ebook platforms, as well as content distribution through industry standards including IMS and EPUB3.
In addition to supporting product lines as a technical point of contact (see TPM resume at Pearson), I have developed new processes and training materials that enable teams to efficiently produce and distribute products, both print and digital, in today's ever-changing educational landscape. My core responsibilities have included investigating production tools and delivery platforms, then establishing feasibility, processes, and training to make those new workflows effective.
Production Experience:
In addition to PM skills I have a modest level of experience with WordPress, Drupal, and Bootstrap and can make updates to websites built on these platforms.
I can set up and manage a Scrum Jira Board; I built my Jira server on Ubuntu/Linux.
I can help write Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria and add them to Jira tickets.
I am excellent at creating spreadsheets when project management software just doesn't cut it.
I can create training materials and have used Confluence as well as Sharepoint in the past to document these.
