Experienced Java, Perl and database (SQL) developer and software designer

Programming has always been a passion of mine. I started my career as a software engineer focusing on Java, Perl and database development in the US. The company that I worked for was one of the first to create an online billing software for ISPs and ASPs. I had the opportunity to build a custom Java-based billing server complete with encryption and plug-ins. This was before the days of Java application server. As I progress in my career, I've moved on to professional services and management. However, I'm always up for coding and problem solving.
