Companies must be proactive in getting mentioned online. I believe this means creating and sharing good content, consistent posting, and clear messaging.

Being an award-winning editor for a high school newspaper that produced the #1 hs newsmagazine in the nation, year after year, gave me the itch to keep going with my writing.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona in 2007, and then decided to take a break from writing to pursue my passion for fitness, by becoming a Certified Personal Trainer. I am also now a single mom of two beautiful sons, who I think are my best creations of all.

I finally made my way back to writing when I started my web content and social media management business in January of 2014. Since then, I have written for and managed social media accounts for a women-only gym, a financial planner, an online jewelry store, a startup travel savings company, a truck driver training school, a barber shop, and an IT company.

I love that I get to dig in and learn about so many different industries as I have worked for these companies. I am curious by nature and love to read, so my craving for knowledge is satisfied through my job. In addition, working from home allows me to be with my boys more, which is an incredible blessing.
