- Built a company from scratch and ran it for 16 years,
- Designed and developed multiple programs and websites from end to end including user interface design, graphic design, user interaction, development, documentation, maintenance and user assistance,
- Have written, illustrated and published both technical and fiction books, and proofread and edited various documents and websites,
- As CTO and VP, built multiple development teams to take a business from 5 to 98 staff,
- Ran multiple international software development projects for deployment across Asia,
- Had wide exposure to different industries and developing solutions for insurance, car sales, knitwear design, multimedia databases, bi-temporal databases, nutrition, sport, and aluminium smelting,
- Automated testing and reporting for an engineering materials lab, including instrumentation, machine control, database interfaces, and mobile systems,
- Experience in programming using over 20 languages – most proficient in Objective-C, JavaScript, PHP, HTML,
- Designed and built my own house, built a 7m catamaran yacht,
- Hobbies include Latin dance, watercolour and oil painting, sculpture, sailing and travel.
