Glenn English is a writer, director, producer, actor and acting teacher of the American Method, based in NYC. He holds an MA in Dramatic Theory and Criticism from Hunter College, has worked as a Theater Professor for CUNY and is a recipient of the John Golden Award. As an actor he has worked extensively in television, film and stage. Glenn is currently screening his latest film Naked-Spurious and shopping for a powerhouse cast for his Broadway bound play Straw House. He is represented by Ed Tillinghast III and Ben Mulcahy of Sheppard Mullin LLP in New York.

Work Terms

I do script analysis, editing, script doctoring and general overhaul of projects for stage, television and film. I've worked extensively in all there areas, have developed concepts into series packages and taken mere germs of ideas into full realized films. I also have a strong academic background, have edited a number of final Master's papers for folks at CUNY and can do most any work in that field as well. I am currently not a member of the Writer's Guild of America and can therefore be a little flexible in terms of what I charge. If your project is interesting to me and I'm available, we can usually arrive on a figure that works for both of us. I'm also a highly trained actor with tons of experience in TV, film, stage and VO work and work regularly in all these mediums, especially voice over work.
