I started my business life as a graphic designer, and I have a BFA in Visual Communications. However, I began to write in 1994, and learned quickly there was more demand for writing than for art. I have a 2005 MA in history, and that's where I honed my writing skills. Currently I'm finishing a memoir about my time as caregiver to my mother, who died from cholangiocarcinoma.
