Protecting your business from embarrassing and expensive mistakes

Based in Madison, Mississippi, I am a teacher-turned-proofreader with a love for the written language. I always have something to read, and now I also carry a red pen (or stylus).

My teaching career has improved my already efficient and thorough nature. Since I’m used to reading and grading ninety essays in a week, I have the ability to be fast without compromising focus or accuracy. Trained to teach hundreds of students, I have a thorough knowledge of even the most obscure grammar rules and an understanding of when to break them.

Never able to turn off my keen eye, I find myself correcting spelling errors in restaurant menus and font changes in church bulletins. I’m the person who diagrams sentences in her head and makes punny jokes that my husband doesn’t fully appreciate.

Armed with an extensive knowledge of the English language and my red pen, I protect corporate, professional, and personal reputations one word at a time.
