Design Engineer

I am working as a mechanical engineer in industry since 2 years. I have worked in mechanical maintenance department of a reputed steel mill of Pakistan on an expansion project and in a renowned research organization of Pakistan as a design officer where I worked on Damage Tolerance Analysis of fighter aircrafts and development of a pneumatic UAV launcher. All these experiences helped me to understand my strengths as well as my weaknesses. In my final year project we designed and manufactured a pneumatic UAV launcher where we used to visit the market for all the raw materials and components purchase, it was a unique experience for me to gain firsthand knowledge of real world mechanics and an experience of solving practical issues. Since my bachelors I had a good grip in computational aspects of mechanical engineering, I have done many projects which involved CAD and CAE works on well recognized simulation software’s. I am trying to drive my career towards a CAE consultant or a Project engineer, I have studied courses like FEM and HVAC that offers good design engineering base.

Work Terms

I work on freelance projects besides my regular job as a research engineer at a RnD firm of Pakistan. I have flexible hours a day for freelancing ranging from 4 to 5 hours. I have payment sources like payoneer and local Pakistani banks thorough which i receive payments.
