I am a Software Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in web and software development. I have completed my bachelors degree in Computer Science and have worked with professional companies as well as with international clients as a Freelancer.
I possess experience working across the full software development life cycle (SDLC). This includes everything from requirements analysis and solution design, to development, testing, deployment, maintenance and iteration. I have worked on many different types of projects including business websites, custom web applications, eCommerce solutions, API development, database driven applications, integrations and maintenance and improvement on existing applications.
Some of my technical skills include: PHP, Laravel, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, MySQL, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Database Development and Responsive Web Development. I am equally happy building applications from scratch as I am taking over existing projects and working with legacy code, fixing bugs, optimising performance and implementing new features.
In my career, I have been part of professional software development teams and have successfully executed many freelance projects for clients with diverse business needs. This experience has enabled me to develop strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to adapt and the capacity to understand and articulate a client’s requirements clearly in technical terms.

I am flexible with clients in various time zones and typically like to get a good understanding of project requirements prior to development to ensure an agreement on the scope, deliverables and expectations. I strive to maintain clear communication throughout the project, providing updates on progress as needed. I am happy to communicate via Guru and other agreed upon platforms.
