I am a detail-oriented medical biller who combines deep knowledge of CPT/ICD coding with strict compliance practices to maximize reimbursements and minimize claim denials. I focus on clean claims, timely appeals, and transparent reporting to keep cash flow steady for practices of all sizes.

Partnering with clinicians and office staff, I simplify billing operations, resolve complex payer issues, and implement process improvements that save time and boost collections. My goal is to handle the paperwork so providers can concentrate on patient care.

Work Terms

Hours & Response Time: I am available Monday–Friday 2:00 AM to 3:00 PM Central time. I respond to messages within 24 hours on business days and provide urgent support within 4 business hours when agreed in advance.

Scope & Turnaround: Services include claim submission, payer follow‑up, denial management, posting payments, and monthly reporting. Typical turnaround for claim submission and initial follow‑up is 3–7 business days; appeals and complex payer issues follow an agreed timeline.

Fees & Payment: I charge [choose: 2.5% of net collections / 6$/ per‑hour fee] as listed on my Guru profile and invoice monthly. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice; late payments incur a modest fee. Additional expenses (clearinghouse fees, postage) are billed separately with prior approval.

Confidentiality & Compliance: I sign a Business Associate Agreement and follow HIPAA‑level safeguards for PHI, including encrypted communications and secure record handling. I notify clients promptly of any suspected data incidents.

Onboarding & Termination: Onboarding requires access to practice management systems and documentation; a one‑time setup fee may apply. Either party may end the engagement with 30 days’ written notice; I provide 30 days of transition support to ensure a smooth handoff.

Communication & Reporting: Monthly performance reports include claims submitted, collections, denial rates, and AR aging. Preferred communication channels are Guru messages and email; phone calls scheduled as needed.
