I have published a successful contemporary romance novel and am currently working on a new two-book series for publication in 2024. I am experienced in writing and developing romantic fiction, including creating intriguing plots and subplots supported by interesting and complex characters. As a novelist I have an extensive understanding of story structure and use this to create compelling, heart-warming and captivating fiction.
In addition to writing romance, I am involved with a company in the US as a copy editor on a series of non-fiction books, working to improve and punch up the copy, ensuring continuity of story, establishing a clear voice for the author and analysing and developing the structure throughout.
I'm a scriptwriter experienced in script analysis, script structure, developing character arcs, writing screenplay and season outlines and developing story. I have had my work optioned by independent production companies, and am used to working to tight deadlines with a Masters in Scriptwriting.
I have ten years experience at the BBC, where I worked in the online content division within technology. This work was extremely demanding, fast-paced and deadline-driven and I am experienced with working to tight turnarounds and keeping calm under pressure. I have substantial experience of supporting, working with and managing a team of over ten staff and have a calm, friendly and personable demeanour.I have published a successful contemporary romance novel and am currently working on a new two book series for publication in 2024.
