Curriculum Development and Workshops
I have been working as a high school teacher for over twenty years in the USA, having taught in two states and in a variety of educational settings which include, in addition to the traditional comprehensive high school, an alternative education program, a Sheltered English program, and currently a public 6-12 charter school. Over the course of my career, I have experienced many of the obstacles and struggles that others have. I offer curriculum writing and development for grades 6-12 in English Language Arts and Social Studies, as well as curriculum development workshops for full staffs or curricular teams. I have also recently earned a doctoral degree with a specialization in postsecondary readiness, and offer evaluation and workshops for preparing students for life after high school.
Work Terms
This work is offered on a part-time basis that must fit within an existing career and parenting structure. I prefer fixed rate deals, and the stated minimum is for smaller curriculum development jobs.
