I am a native German speaker based near Düsseldorf. I have an academic background in English and German Linguistics and Cultural Studies. I used to teach English linguistic seminars at the University of Düsseldorf, which helped me to appreciate languages and the skills needed to provide professional translations. Since then I have moved on to put these insights and experiences to a practical use by offering English-German translations in various subject fields and editorial and proofreading services.

Whether it is a literal or a free and lyrical translation of a text, my goal is to work with the client to achieve a satisfying result. For that communication is key and therefore always an integral part in my business relationships.
