I've always been a perfectionist and a bit of a grammar snob. A voracious reader from a young age, my parents always joked that if I had nothing else, I would be content to read even a phone book! As a result, I am familiar with a wide variety of writing styles and topics in addition to having a large vocabulary and firm grasp of grammar rules.
Additionally, I've spent the last four years teaching English to elementary and middle school students in South Korea. This job also gave me the opportunity to get some experience with proofreading and editing various materials, including a university professor's academic research paper.
I would like to continue to build on both my innate ability and my previous experience to become an even better professional.
