We at Cygnusoft are a very small group of friends who have joined forces in a developer co-op. We have over 50 years combined experience in multiple programming languages. We work both as coders and consultants. The people you speak with are also the ones doing the work. We prefer to keep things tight and small, knowing that we work well together and our combined knowledge delivers you a superior product.
Based in the heart of Silicon Valley and after being in business since 1989, we are at a stage in our careers where we feel we can choose the projects or companies that we “want to work with.” This is good news for you as we are currently looking to take on another customer or project. We embrace a challenge and the more difficult the project the more interested we are. While we may consider small jobs, we prefer larger projects ranging anywhere from fifty thousand to ten million dollars.
Our rates are straightforward at $250 for hourly or consultant charges. But we DO NOT charge for meetings and phone calls to discuss the project, only for time that we develop software. There will be no surprises on your invoice, only time spent developing, and only working on things YOU approve first. On projects, we can work hourly or quote you a fixed price. Everything is a negotiation, and we give great discounts for first projects.

We have written systems for Air Force logistics and the Human Genome Project, taught tech at SAP, created executive compensation software for Quantum, and written complete manufacturing, accounting, and inventory control systems. Please, throw something new at us! Whether it’s HTML5, C#, VB.NET, JavaScript, SignalR, D3.js, Bootstrap, we can make it happen. We have written add-ons and integrations on DotNetNuke, SAP, Quickbooks, POS systems and everything in between. We have taken projects from the planning phase all the way to market and we have the know how to help you every step of the way.
