I’m a freelance web designer and developer

I specialize in WordPress-based websites, using clean, standards-based code, which is cross-browser compatible.

I’ve been active in web design and web development for 10 years. Prior to going freelance, I worked full-time as the web designer and developer for Annabel Chaffer.

I’m passionate about WordPress, and, over the years, I’ve built up extensive experience with it.

I have good organisational skills, I’m self-motivated, and have excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). I’d say I’m definitely a systematic, analytical thinker, and a good problem-solver.

Work Terms

RIGHTS (COPYRIGHT/PATENTS/TRADEMARKS)
- Before, during and after the project, all copyright/patents/trademarks for content/copy/anything-else will remain yours.

RIGHTS (INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY)
- Before payment is received in full, I own all files/assets/code/anything-else that I've created.
- After payment is received in full, ownership is transferred to you, and you own everything fully from then onwards.
- I reserve the right to showcase name(s) of individual/company, website URLs, project descriptions and project screenshots, in an online portfolio.

PARTWAY TERMINATION (DUE TO ILLNESSES/ACCIDENTS/ANY-OTHER-REASON)
- You agree to pay for the work done up to that point. If you've paid a deposit/down-payment, you'll be refunded for any work not yet done.
- After all files/assets/code/anything-else has been turned over to you, the project is to be completed by another developer/designer of your choosing.

PAYMENT
- Invoices must be paid within 31 days of being issued. You agree to pay all invoices within this time period.
- For overdue payments, a late fee of 18% will be added each month, to the latest amount due (i.e. similar to Compound Interest).
- I do not accept referrals/trades/anything-else in place of monetary payment.

REINVOICING AND ADDITIONAL SERVICES
- If you request additional services/tasks, the additional cost(s) and timeframe(s) will be calculated, and then added to the original project's cost and timeframe.
- If an invoice has already been issued, you will be sent a new invoice or the updated original invoice [which will contain the additional services/tasks you've requested, as well as cost].

RESPONSIBILITIES
- You affirm that the email address you supplied is valid, active, and able to receive emails.
- You agree to monitor/check the supplied email account on a regular basis.
- You agree to notify me immediately if you change your email address.
