Language Specialist | Indonesian English Translator
I am a language and research professional with experience across translation, editorial work, qualitative research, and multilingual communication.
My professional background includes contributing to the production of 200+ children’s books through Indonesia’s Ministry of Education and Culture and translating over 1,000 hours of broadcast content for international television channels, including National Geographic, Nickelodeon, and History Channel. Across these roles, I have focused on producing clear, audience-appropriate content while working within structured workflows and tight deadlines.
I recently completed an MSc in Applied Linguistics (Sociolinguistics) at the University of Edinburgh, where I conducted qualitative research on Indonesian–English code-mixing using NVivo. My interests include language, culture, communication, audience adaptation, and how meaning shifts across contexts.
I enjoy work that combines analytical thinking, communication, and structured problem-solving, particularly in research, publishing, education, and cross-cultural environments.
