I am a multi-skilled, reliable, talented translator and proofreader, with a proven ability to translate source language (English/Somali) into a target language (Somali/English). Over the last 4 years, I have provided great content and translations to multiple Humanitarian agencies in Dadaab, Kenya.
I am always available and usually respond within a minute. I am a certificate holder in computer packages with advanced computer skills with experience in using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Google Docs, Google Sheets, File sharing sites (Dropbox, Box etc.) and some of the other apps used in the translation industry.
I am a detailed oriented professional who can work independently or as a part of a team. I am highly organized with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and can meet the project required deadlines. My Interpersonal and time management skills are some of my strong points and I believe good communication is very important in every projects' success.
