¡Hola! ¡Mucho gusto!
I am a Venezuelan who has lived in Chile since 2017. I spent 8 years in Santiago. Currently, I live in Puerto Montt, in Chilean Patagonia.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Literature and a Master's degree in Hispanic American culture and literature. I am passionate about learning and I enjoy sharing my culture with anyone through teaching language. I've taught Spanish to people of different nationalities, and this includes inmigrants and refugees of the Middle East in Chile. Also, I offer proofreading and academic writing tutoring for Literature students.
For me, teaching Spanish is like opening a door to a world as diverse as the countries where it's spoken. Establishing a connection between my culture (that of a Venezuelan immigrant in Chile) and that of the students not only brings me joy, but also a wealth of learning about our planet.
I am a very curious person. I like to know a little about everything: art, history, politics, culture, literature, medicine, biology, psychology, philosophy, languages... I also enjoy good food, traveling, exploring cities and towns, singing and playing the violin, knitting, practicing yoga, hiking, observing nature, camping... Sharing these topics with the students' interests is always enriching. May Spanish be that bridge!
Work Terms
In terms of work, I am active Mondays through Fridays, with a flexible schedule that varies depending on the availability of the students, my own availability, and the time zone.
I accept payments through various methods: Wise, Payoneer, PayPal, and Global 66. I suggest individual sessions or lessons packs.
