Management Advisor and Project Manager
Mr. Egwaikhide has worked for over 20 years as a professional in various fields of the energy sector, in executive management, business development, consulting, engineering, IT project and systems management and applied research in Germany and Nigeria.
His experience includes work as a managing director / country manager, energy (gas and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)) business development manager, project manager and consultant for energy trading & risk management and an internetworking consultant. He was also a researcher for African energy policy and infrastructure development, sustainable energy supply and intelligent applications to the energy sector.
His core competencies are in energy / commodities markets, project development and management, general management, LNG business development, information technology and internet-working, business development, government relationship management, and R&D (Innovation Management).
Mr. Egwaikhide has a master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Process Automation from the Dresden University of Technology, Dresden, Germany.
He is a non-executive director of the Nigerian-German Business Association (NGBA) and Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the Nigerian German Energy Partnership (NGEP).
Mr. Egwaikhide is a member of the IEEE, IEEE Power & Energy Society, IEEE Smart Grid Community, the VDE, VDE GMA, the Nigerian Gas Association (Corporate) and the African Renewable Energy Alliance.
