As a boy I played for the youth of soccer club Heerenveen. These experience with top sport have shaped some of my personal features like loyalty, discipline and perseverance.
I'm interested in human behavior and that's the reason why I finished my bachelor psychology and subsequently a master's degree industrial, organizational and personnel psychology. My thesis was about sport psychology: ''Can we improve performance in teams when attacking in numerical superiority? A psychology intervention in football.''
After various jobs I moved to Amsterdam and worked two years for the Immigration Service as an immigration officer. Briefly I interviewed asylum seekers about their asylum motif and made decisions in asylum cases. The social added value of my work gave satisfaction.
I like to observe, listen and to interview. Every person has a story to tell. I like to get to know about that story. I'm open minded, flexible, enthusiastic and solution oriented.
My personal interests are psychology, make and listen to music, traveling, drums, cultures and film. I play soccer, love to cycle, I'm happy about hiking and climbing. I had a few wonderful climbing adventures at Mont Blanc and Parinacota (Chili/Bolivia). I can't wait to go up again.
