I'm a writer, communications and leadership professional, and charter school board member and volunteer. I enjoy writing to help people, businesses, and brands achieve communications effectiveness. I also write for fun, and have been called on by numerous friends and clients to "please review, edit and make this sound better!"
Over the years I've created and led marketing and PR initiatives for global brands like BMW, Volvo, and Chevron, and a few technology start-ups. After graduating with a marketing degree from Santa Clara University, I landed a job in public relations in Seattle, where a former newspaper editor schooled me on the real ropes of writing. I've been in the industry for 20+ years. Currently, I freelance and am privileged to serve as a member of the board of directors at a public charter school in Colorado. I’m writing my first novel and love soccer, fitness, the mountains, true-crime podcasts and raising my teenage daughters.
