Fast video editor

Hey, I’m James a passionate video editor who loves turning raw footage into something that truly connects with people.

I started editing about three years ago, mostly working on gaming videos and creative YouTube content. Over time, I got into cinematic editing, storytelling, and social media formats and I realized how much I love helping creators and brands bring their ideas to life through visuals and rhythm.

My main editing software is DaVinci Resolve, but I’m also experienced with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop. I enjoy exploring all the tools out there and learning new workflows I’m a bit of a tech nerd when it comes to creative software.

What drives me is making content that feels alive whether it’s a YouTube video with perfect pacing, a short-form edit that hooks viewers in seconds, or a cinematic project that hits emotionally.

I value communication, creativity, and efficiency. I like to keep things professional but friendly I want clients to feel comfortable sharing ideas, even half-finished ones, because that’s where the best edits usually start.

Outside of editing, I’m into film, gaming, and visual design anything that feeds into creativity and storytelling. Those hobbies actually help me stay inspired and keep my editing style fresh.

I believe every project has its own vibe and purpose my job is to make sure the edit matches that perfectly.

Work Terms

🕒 Hours of Operation
Available: Monday – Saturday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM (SAST / GMT+2)
Flexible scheduling: I can adjust for different time zones if discussed in advance.
Turnaround time: Usually 24–72 hours depending on project length and complexity.

⚡ Workflow Example
1. Client sends footage + style reference.
2. I create a draft within 1–3 days.
3. Client reviews and requests changes (if any).
4. Final delivery in requested format (MP4, MOV, etc.).
