Quality in Scientific and Medical Portuguese-English Translation.

Having grown up in the United States and Brazil, I'm bilingual in both English and Portuguese. In 2007 I completed my Master's degree in Biochemistry and Immunology, an experience that helped to develop my analytic and writing skills. I'm currently finishing my PhD in Immunology, which will culminate in a written dissertation and defense of my work. This undertaking has further improved my abilities. In addition to my academic pursuits, I have been a professor at a Brazilian university since 2008. I teach classes on topics in biology including immunology, physiology, cell biology and histology. The contribution of this work to my skill-set is two-fold: I have developed a firm understanding of diverse topics in biology and sciences, and I have learned how to explain ideas clearly and concisely. While my expertise is in biology, I am comfortable and proficient in translating texts on diverse topics.
