I am an IT and web infrastructure professional with over eight years of experience across higher education, media, and corporate environments. I currently serve as a Web and Senior Systems and Security Officer at NUST PNEC, where I manage Microsoft 365 for more than 900 users, oversee web infrastructure across nine academic subdomains, and administer Odoo based ERP platforms.
My background covers the full range of IT operations: Active Directory and systems administration, network configuration including firewalls and VPN connectivity, endpoint security, and web platform management. Earlier in my career I built and ran the complete IT infrastructure for a multi city media organization, and I have also worked in corporate technical support and IT training roles.
Alongside my professional work, I teach a university course on professional issues in computing and hold an Azure Fundamentals certification, with additional training across Cisco networking, Microsoft technologies, and cybersecurity. I am currently building on this foundation through ongoing study in offensive security and penetration testing fundamentals.
I take a practical, dependable approach to every engagement, whether that means keeping a network running smoothly, securing an organization's systems, or supporting a Microsoft 365 environment day to day. I am reliable, detail oriented, and comfortable working directly with clients to understand what they actually need before proposing a solution.
Work Terms
I am based in Pakistan and work in Pakistan Standard Time (UTC+5). I am generally available Monday through Saturday and can accommodate evening calls for clients in different time zones with advance notice.
For most engagements I work on an hourly basis and share regular progress updates so clients always know where things stand. For larger or longer term projects, I am open to milestone based payment, with an initial deposit before work begins.
I prefer clear written communication for task details and requirements, and I am comfortable with video or voice calls for kickoff discussions, progress check ins, or troubleshooting sessions. I respond to messages within one business day, often sooner.
Before starting any engagement, I like to confirm scope, timeline, and deliverables with the client so both sides are aligned from the outset."
