International photojournalist with a passion for photography

As a well respected photographer with a creative, distinctive style and technical prowess, Jeff LaPlante started his career in Seattle in 2004. He specializes in a photojournalistic approach to wedding, lifestyle, editorial, fashion, and portrait photography. With a skill in weaving a narrative through photography, Jeff is able to successfully capture the unfolding story of a relationship or an event with his work. His intuition about what represents a photographic subject results in work that is intimate, aesthetic, and powerful.

Jeff has been published in Seattle Bride, Seattle Metropolitan Bride and Groom, Seattle Met, and Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine. He won The Knot 2007 Best of Weddings Pick.

Taking a break from photography and moving from Seattle to Los Angeles in 2012, Jeff went to work in the technical side of the entertainment industry. His love for photography has brought him back. With a renewed passion for providing excellent photographs, he's here to prove that great photography does not have to cost you a fortune.

Based in Los Angeles, Jeff has worked in Seattle, California, New York, Florida, Paris, Mexico, Finland, England, Estonia, Chile, Cayman Islands, and Tanzania.
