When I was younger, my mom called my style of art as functional art. I didn't know what that meant until finally going to college and studying graphic design. I found something I was passionate about and great at. I started out doing small things at my job as an office manager at a high school. I created some in-house graphics and updated all the word document files to interactive PDF files that could be filled out online and then submitted online. My husband got orders to Key West and I found a job working in the Composing Department at the local newspaper. Working in a collaborative environment was amazing and helped me become an even better designer. I learned so much from my boss and co-workers. The design world is ever evolving and I enjoy learning and working with others.
