Monster Dog Press is a small publishing company in the heart of the Midwest. Named after a mischievous & tenacious family bulldog, the company is committed to finding creative ways to make whatever you can dream come to life through written word.

Monster Dog is run and operated solely by Jennifer Mitchell from a small office in Watertown, South Dakota. Jennifer started as a single, teenage mother who worked hard to get her foot into the world of publishing. She got her start in the newspaper industry at the age of nineteen doing copy-writing and advertising marketing and wrote her first book at the ripe old age of 24.

She has taught poetry writing workshops at campuses across the nation and won Independent author awards for her books, prose, and journalistic endeavors.

Today she runs a small hobby farm and lives with her husband, Nathan, and their four children: Meredith, Michael, Hallie, and Jade.
