About

Clean, verified data from web pages, PDFs, scans, and messy spreadsheets. Every row ships with its source and the date it was confirmed.

Most people who hire for this have already been burned, usually in a way that only shows up weeks later. The list looks fine on delivery. Then a third of the emails bounce, or someone notices the "current" pricing is from 2024. The money is gone by then and the work has already been done on top of bad data, which is the expensive part.

The fix I use is boring but it works: every row ships with its source and the date I confirmed it, right there in the file. Pick any line at random and check it in ten seconds. You never have to take my word for anything.

Where a site publishes its own count, I reconcile against it and give you both numbers. A facility directory I worked on had a counter reading 1,102, and 1,102 is what I delivered. I mention it because another tool returned 53 rows for that same directory and called the job finished. That gap is the whole problem in one number.

If something genuinely can't be pulled, I tell you which rows and why. Send a shorter file with no note and the client has no way of knowing anything is missing, which is how people end up deciding on data that was never there.

The work usually looks like one of these: records off sites that don't hand over their data easily; PDFs and scans that have to become rows; spreadsheets that need merging when nothing shares a header; part numbers or contacts matched against public sources.

Any of it can run on a schedule. Sites change and break, and when that happens I'll fix it, rather than you finding out when the numbers stop making sense.

Work Terms

I work asynchronously and reply within 12 hours, usually much faster. For fixed-price projects I prefer SafePay milestones, starting with a small first milestone so you can check real output on your own data before committing the rest. The fastest turnaround comes from a clear written spec: the pages, the columns, and the format you want. All communication through Guru messages.
