Freelance Writer and Editor

Hi! I'm Jessica Whitmore.

I have over 12 years of writing and editing experience, and I have done both in the freelance world since 2002.

I have been involved in writing and editing projects ranging from business and grant proposals, website copy, newspaper and online articles, press releases, letters, and back cover copy. I have worked with non-profits, publishing companies, small businesses, professional organizations, internet-based companies, and individuals to help each achieve success with their written material. My clients have been both U.S.-based and international. I have worked individually as well as a team member on projects.

Whether it is through writing or editing, I enjoy the thrill of finding and sharing a story whether it is in a newspaper, a magazine or on a website. I enjoy learning from others and then putting together words, sentences and paragraphs to make each story come to life for readers.

My degrees include a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting.
