English professor seeking additional editing work.
I am an English professor that teaches business and technical writing at a small 4-year University. I bought a house last year and would like to make some extra money to fix it up--but I am also here to see if this is a site that I would recommend to my students. In the past I have worked as a contract technical writer for automotive companies, resume editor, journal editor (copy editing and section editing) and have edited online courses for a health management association.
Work Terms
I teach in the afternoons, prefer to communicate via e-mail (because having clients call while I'm teaching is disruptive), and read and work very quickly. You can expect fast turnarounds and I will always let clients know if I suspect a document will take longer than normal.
