The expertise lies in crafting full vehicle packages in CAD, working with studio designers and attributes teams to ensure form and function. This collaborative approach has been crucial in developing vehicles that meet performance, safety standards, and inspire.
Early career experiences included working as a young design engineer on the McLaren F1 Road Car. This offered insight into the work of Gordon Murray. Contributing to this vehicle provided a foundation in meticulous design, innovative solutions, and the relentless pursuit of perfection. The experience on the McLaren F1 GTR (Le Mans Winner) further deepened the understanding of how advanced engineering principles translate into success on the track.
This period led to a role as Gordon Murray's Chief Engineer. Under his guidance, complex technical challenges were translated into design solutions, in collaboration with engineers and designers. The McLaren Mercedes SLR provided another opportunity to work at the intersection of luxury and performance, broadening expertise in integrating advanced systems and technologies. In Formula One, involvement included teams like Midland Formula One, Spyker Formula One, and Super Aguri Formula One.
