I began freelance index writing in 2008. I was a book worm since the age of 5 when I taught myself to read. Books have been my passion ever since. I have a background as a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. I continue to do this work as well as write indexes for a very enjoyable and stimulating professional life.
My hobbies include travel, reading, cooking, gardening, movies, Scrabble, computers and knitting. I have lived in the UK, US, France, Switzerland and Panama. I speak English (UK & US), French, German, Lithuanian and Spanish with varying degrees of fluency.
Work Terms
My work hours and days are flexible to meet project needs. When possible I do like advance notice to schedule projects efficiently. I am easiest to reach by email. I like to do bids on a per page basis after seeing a sample of the manuscript. Payment is due upon completion of the project.
