Telling the world about pets and vets
I am a qualified vet, writer and public speaker who works both in the UK and internationally, well known under my maiden name, Jo Hardy.
I was one of the BBC 2's Young Vets which successfully aired in 2014, being one of ITN's highest viewed series of that year.
Since then I've gone on to write two successful books for Harper Collins, and become a regular motivational speaker across the UK.
I have an Honours degree in Veterinary Medicine, a Certificate in Pain Management and a Masters degree in Tropical Animal Health.
I freelance alongside my clinical work writing expert content for websites, newsletters and other articles and assisting with academic writing including proof-reading CVs, theses and journal publications in the scientific field.
My specialist interests include pet nutrition, welfare and pain management.
