I have had many exciting career opportunities in the rich tapestry of my working life, including (but not limited to) legal work, retail sales and management, hospitality, marketing and development as well as education and training. I was conferred to the degrees of Bachelor of Science with majors in Anatomical Sciences and Molecular Cell Biology and Bachelor of Education (Secondary) with majors in Chemistry and Biology; both from the University of Queensland, Australia.

My later career focus was in secondary school maths/science education until 2012, when I took a position as Education Officer for the Queensland University of Technology's Medical Engineering Research Facility (MERF). As Education Officer, I delivered Clinical Anatomy for Airway Management and Trauma to Undergraduate Paramedics, Intensive Care and Flight Paramedics as well as the Australian Federal Police Medics. I was course co-ordinator and senior lecturer for the AOA-accredited Surgical Orthopaedic Anatomy Course and delivered specialist Regional Anatomy to Neurosurgical fellows. I am currently awaiting publication of my first co-authored journal article on paramedic education and I am about to embark upon a PhD in Clinical Anatomy Education for Paramedics in Australia with the Queensland University if Technology.

In addition to my skills of academic writing, I am proficient in data collection and management, course work preparation and delivery as well as marketing and communications. I enjoy new challenges, exercise a high level of attention to detail and take pride in my work.

I have many hobbies and interests including fishing, cooking, gardening, jewellery making, scrapbooking, painting, drawing, auto-mechanical and writing. I have a strong sense of community values and volunteer my time with Childhood Cancer Support in Brisbane and have in the past, undertaken palliative care of a close friend. I am a mum to two beautiful children and am always looking for new opportunities.

Work Terms

I currently have flexible available hours. I am prepared to negotiate payment terms, but prefer 50% upfront payment with the balance upon completion of work - I can send a sample of completed work for verification prior to final payment.
