A young writer and editor eager to dip her toes into the world of freelancing through small projects.

Hello! I'm a junior at UMBC studying English literature and media & communication studies, and I'm interested in doing some freelance work this summer to help add to my portfolio and get on board with some awesome and meaningful projects! If you need help with anything, including but not limited to: article writing, blog writing, copy editing, proofreading, feedback on a piece of writing, technical writing, content creation, etc. please let me know! My rates are very flexible, and I'm even willing to do consider doing some work pro bono or very low cost for particularly great causes!

My experience includes writing for The Retriever, UMBC's student newspaper, for which I am a part of the student life section, as well as reviewing theatre for MDTheatreGuide, a popular local theatre publication. My coursework at UMBC includes a number of writing courses in a number of styles, including academic, technical, journalistic, and creative. I am also a CRLA certified writing tutor, and I have over six month's experience tutoring UMBC undergraduate and graduate students, including ESOL and international students.
