John F. Savage is Professor Emeritus at Boston College Lynch School of Education, where he directed the Graduate Literacy Program for over 30 years. His professional writing includes five college texts in the areas of language, reading, language arts, and children's literature. He has also developed/written 13 classroom programs from preschool through high school. His other writing ranges from newspaper columns to basal stories.
A popular speaker, Dr. Savage has conducted workshops on reading and language all over the United States, in Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia, where he was a Senior Fulbright Scholar.
Work Terms
Work terms are flexible. I am retired, so I have all the time in the world to write and edit.
I prefer to be paid weekly, and I prefer communication via e-mail or home phone.
