My name is Jon. I'm 23 years old and currently living is South Florida. My writing career started in first grade when I would write and read a new chapter of my short story "Monster Village" to my class every week. They liked it so much that they created a makeshift "published" copy for future years. Then my love for writing intertwined with my passion for music and a new love was born. Lyric writing has become my device for expression, reflection, relieving boredom, and escaping the world. I love nothing more than having one word on a page turn into a beautiful, poetic mashup of sentences that forms the perfect best friend to wordless music. While I love writing lyrics and poetry, I also have experience in Journalism, Short Stories, Article Writing, and Blog Writing. I am in recovery from drugs and alcohol and have a blog that I write on bi-weekly, so if you would like a sample of my writing (in general, or lyrics) you can find it on my blog.
