I began writing professionally in 2019, starting on the iWriter platform. Previously, I was a sole trader for eight years, running a woodworking business from home - so this was a major career change!
In 2017, I won a short story competition in a regional magazine. This prompted me to write a book (a paranormal thriller), which I published via Amazon KDP. Subsequently, I released three more, with a fifth book published by Blossom Spring Publishing.
All my books are in the supernatural/paranormal thriller/mystery genres, aside from one, which is more of a liminal fantasy.
While completing articles on iWriter, I was approached by a couple clients. This led to an eighteen month contract with Alviral media, working on its Pupvine project, where I contributed approximately 600,000 words to the blog site devoted to canine care and welfare.
I then worked on a casual basis for UKWebGeekz, an SEO specialist and professional website builder, creating SEO-friendly copy and content for blogs, sales pages, landing pages, etc.
While Alviral had a system of editors and proofreaders in place, UKWebGeekz allowed me almost complete autonomy over the articles, providing only a basic brief. I researched, wrote and edited each article.

I am intrigued by all things mystical, magical and paranormal. My other interests include history, archaeology, folklore and folk horror. As a family, we spend a great deal of time exploring heritage sites and the countryside in our local area.

Work Terms

I am available during normal working hours, although I can be flexible when necessary to meet deadlines.
