(Current Bio Version: Made in 8/15/2026)
My name is Jonathan Pulisz, I am a college student attending New England Institute of Technology for a Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Design (VGD). I graduate around Fall of 2027 and will be able to work full time within my career. I have previously worked at a Rite Aid in North Haven CT as a Pharmacy Technician from August 2023 - May 2024 (the location closed down during that time). Working there taught me how to efficiently use computer software while also managing to aid the customers helping them with their requests. In addition this experience has helped with working better in groups and how each part of the entire team functions. Due to this experience it feels natural working programmers on Unity projects.
I have experience in the following softwares: 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop, Piskel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Unity, and currently I’m learning ZBrush for a class in my major. I have years of experience with creating 2D artwork/designs since I was a kid, and started to work in 3DS Max from around my Freshmen to Sophomore year of high school. Having knowledge of these software has supported my values of meeting the team's vision of the project. As a video game designer it’s important to have clear communication for how the entire game should look, and how the story/gameplay fits within the project's environment scenes. So, having skills with both 2D and 3D is flexible as the vision of the project’s art style can change during concept to pre-production stage.
Some of my hobbies include computers, creating physical/digital art, trading card games like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering, playing video games like Team Fortress 2, Bakugan and Beyblades. Most of my hobbies come from my interest in these things when I was younger, some parts of each of them have integrated into my passion in creating art and brainstorming these creative ideas I have.
