Jose A. Ortiz received his B. Eng. in Civil Engineering from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (Mexico) and his M.Sc and Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Technical University of Catalonia (Barcelona Tech), Spain, in 2005.
He is member of AISI and ACI and appertains to the National System of Researches of Mexico (SNI).

His research and professional interests are related to Structural Engineering, Steel, Concrete and Masonry Structures, Thin-Walled Structures, Technology of Concrete and Non-linear Analysis.

Experience in structural design and analysis of steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete and masonry structures; Structural executive projects including basic engineering drawings; Advanced structural analysis such as FEA (finite element analysis), NLA (non-linear analysis) and BA (buckling analysis).

Work Terms

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, communication preferable by e-mail, Whatsapp and Skype
