Hi my name is Jose and I'm an an instrumental hip-hop producer from NJ. I've been producing music for 10 years now and mixing/mastering for 5. I'm proficient in various DAWs such as Ableton and Logic Pro X, and have mastered professional plugins from companies like Waves, and Soundtoys which help me polish your track and deliver a professional sound that can stand up to industry standards.
A little background on me: I've produced for many up-and-coming artists like Lonny X and MFSTSrep member dylAn, and have played live all over NYC, including schools such as Fordham and the infamous DIY space Trans Pecos. I've opened for many prolific artists such as Skylar Spence and my music has been featured on prominent blogs such as Passion of the Weiss and the Bandcamp Daily section. Over my career as a producer, I've garnered over 6+ million streams across platforms, topped the Hype Machine charts in the past, and have released several albums. As an emerging artist, I'm constantly pushing my own sonic boundaries and find inspiration in a wide variety of genres ranging from jazz to EDM.
My background in mixing and mastering music has led me to excel in other auditory fields such as post production, and I have worked on everything from recording/editing podcasts to creating sound design for films. Work Terms
Hours of operation are usually 9am-7pm. Payment details will be discussed. with client, I usually set up a milestone type project or hourly pay. I prefer to communicate via email or here on Guru.
