Unrelenting perfectionist at your service

An unrelenting drive and an uncanny ability tell stories on behalf of those who cannot tell it themselves, is what sets me apart not only as a professional but as a human being. I have been intrigued with communications and interpersonal relations since an early age. While I am seeking more a streams of income; that thirst has not diminished. A thirst that I believe can benefit your institution.

While I have received a number of writing accolades, I find that the most fulfilling achievement that I could get is a sincere “Thank You.”  Years ago I did a 5-part series on child abuse. I examined the effects of physical, emotional and sexual abuse whether performed by strangers or those closest.

A week after the series was published I got a call from a prominent politician who thanked me for my work. He also confided in me that he was a victim of sexual abuse as a child and my work deeply touched him. At that moment the feeling that I got was worth more than any plaque or decorative award.

Originally from Shreveport, La I am the eldest of four brothers. While we grew up in church we are not the most religious of families. I love to do community service. Growing up in a “less than privileged” home I grew to understand how it feels to depend on the assistance of others and now how important it is to give back.
