Audiobook Narrator for Hire

Joshua Banks was raised in Southern Illinois. Initially, he started working in sales/marketing for Coca-Cola out of college, but transitioned into teaching high school English. He's been in education for over 23+ years.

Recently he decided to try and take a swing on another path part-time, while continuing to teach. He released his first Indie novel, High School Basketball: Establishing a Program. Joshua has also decided to try his luck at audiobook narration with ACX and Findawayvoices. He has been lucky enough to work with authors Holly and Ryan Garcia, Jaxon Reed, Frank Wood, Shana Gorian, David Owain Hughes, Kevin Candela, Robert Barlow Jr, and many others. It was getting to know Holly that he decided to submit his work to the editor of CloseToTheBone Publishing. Now, his Sci/Fi novel, Event Horizon released in Winter of 2021. As an Indie publisher, he has followed up with his second novel in his Event Horizon Series called Dark Sentinel the following year. Joshua is slated to release a second novel in his Muddy Waters Series in the January of 2026.

Work Terms

Hours of operation fluctuate do to my schedule, but will complete all work to the client within the agreed upon date. Communication is flexible. Open to emailing, phone and or online conference methods. I take payment after the product is completed.
