Dr. J.T. Alexander III is a composer, performer, improviser, writer, and researcher of sound and music. Album no mind released 8/23/24 is available on bandcamp and features cello pieces written for him by friend composers. Album memories of a lost dream released 12/29/25 features all original music and was released 12/29/25. Orchestra director at the Innovation Academies of Muskegon (Muskegon Public Schools), adjunct professor of cello, world music, and introduction to the arts at Lake Michigan College, assistant principal cellist of Holland Symphony, and section cellist of West Michigan Symphony and other regional orchestras. Wrote “The Influence of Vietnamese Traditional Music on the Cello Works of P. Q. Phan, Vân-Ánh Võ, and Nhật Minh Nguyễn” available on Proquest.
