I'll be your professional singer, producer, songwriter and session musician
Juan Carlos is a Colombian singer, songwriter, and musician born in Bogotá, whose artistic proposal blends contemporary Latin pop with acoustic elements and modern production, creating an intimate, emotional, and honest sonic identity. His music is characterized by strong lyrical sensitivity, evocative melodies, and a personal narrative that connects with the deepest human experiences.
His relationship with music began at a very early age. From the age of two, his family recognized his fascination with sounds and instruments, giving him toy guitars with which he began spontaneously exploring his musical interest. That first contact planted a curiosity that, over the years, would become a true vocation.
At the age of ten, he found a guitar that belonged to his older sister — who never actually learned to play it — and began experimenting with the instrument on his own. Without any formal training, he started developing his musical ear and intuitively understanding the guitar, taking his first real steps as a musician.
At just eleven years old, he formed his first school band, beginning a stage marked by musical exploration and the discovery of performing live. During his teenage years, he was part of two alternative rock bands, performing his first concerts in different venues across Bogotá. During this period, he also had his first experiences in recording studios, which further strengthened his interest in the creative process behind music.
At sixteen, he graduated from high school, and the following year he enrolled to study music at the Fernando Sor School of Music. However, after completing one semester, he decided to step away in order to reassess his artistic path and gain a clearer understanding of the direction he wanted to give his professional life.
At the age of twenty, he resumed his musical education by enrolling at the EMMAT Music Academy, where he completed the academic program and graduated at twenty-one.
From then on, he began collaborating with various independent projects in Colombia, México and Spain, participating as a songwriter, producer, guitarist and live musician. Over the years, this experience led him to share the stage and studio with hundreds of artists, which strengthened both his live performance experience and his professional vision of the music industry.
