Since basing myself in London, UK, I have committed myself to contributing to the work of educational and health charities, mostly supporting marginalised young people to gain access to educational opportunities. Prior to that, I taught English at two Hong Kong universities. My commitment to social justice was forged while living and working in South Africa, where I immersed myself in the struggle for access to land and housing for all.
